Ambroxane is one of the most important components of natural ambergris. It has been identified to exist in the aromatic components of ambergris tincture. Ambroxane has a strong, rich ambergris aroma with a mild woody note. Very good fixing agent, with ambergris flavor of spices, as a substitute for natural ambergris. Ambergris, a whale excrement found on beaches, is no longer used in perfume production for ethical reasons. Natural ambergris ether is used in perfumes and was discovered in 1949. In perfumes, Ambergris also refers to amber perfume, which uses rock rose essential oil and original essence as a base. Ambroxane ether is the main ambergris compound and the most widely used and biodegradable ambergris molecule.
