Clear colorless to light yellow liquid.Oily liquid with unpleasant odor; In trace, it has a strong aroma of coffee and meat. Boiling point 155ºC, relative density (d420)1.1319, refractive index (nD20)1.5329. Insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents and dilute lye. It readily polymerizes when heated in the presence of inorganic acid. Flash point 45ºC.
