Tetrahydro curcumin (THC) is a natural active ingredient extracted from turmeric, and its uses are as follows:
1. Cosmetics and skincare products
Whitening and Spot Whitening:
Inhibiting tyrosinase activity and reducing melanin production is more effective than quercetin, arbutin, and vitamin C.
For whitening essence, spot lightening cream, sunscreen and other products.
Antioxidant and anti-aging:
Eliminate free radicals, block photoaging caused by ultraviolet radiation (UVA/UVB), reduce wrinkles and pigmentation.
Combined with liposome encapsulation technology, the transdermal absorption rate can be increased by 80%.
Anti inflammatory repair:
Relieve skin inflammation caused by UVB, repair burns, acne scars.
2. Medicine and Health
Diabetes management:
Lower blood sugar and blood lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, etc.).
Cardiovascular protection:
Antioxidant stress, inhibit platelet aggregation, prevent atherosclerosis and myocardial injury.
Activate the SIRT1/SIRT3 pathway to alleviate myocardial hypertrophy.
Antitumor and chemoprevention:
Inhibiting cancer cell proliferation and angiogenesis has anti-cancer potential.
3. Food and health products
Functional additives:
As a natural pigment and antioxidant added to food.
A health supplement used for anti-aging and regulating metabolism.
4. Industry and scientific research
Chemical intermediates: used for synthesizing other drugs or pesticides.
Standards and reagents: used as reference materials for molecular biology and pharmacology research.
