Naringenin has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cough and expectorant, blood lipid lowering, anti-cancer and anti-tumor, spasmolysis, free radical removal, prevention and treatment of liver disease, inhibition of platelet coagulation, anti-atherosclerosis and other effects, and can be widely used in medicine, food and other fields.
1. Antibacterial: Staphylococcus aureus, large intestine, dysentery and typhoid have a strong antibacterial effect. Naringenin also has an effect on fungi, and 1000ppm of sprayed on rice can reduce blastomycete infection by 40-90%, and has no toxicity to humans and livestock.
2. Anti-inflammatory: Intraperitoneal injection of 20mg/kg per day in rats significantly inhibited the inflammatory process caused by wool ball implantation.
3. Anticancer: Active against rat leukemia L1210 and sarcoma.
4. Antispasmodic and cholelitic: flavonoids have stronger use. Naringenin also had a strong effect on increasing bile secretion in experimental animals.
Naringenin is an aglycone of naringenin, a dihydroflavonoid compound. It has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, free radical clearing, antioxidant, cough and expectorant, blood lipid lowering, anticancer and anti-tumor, spasmolysis and gallbladder relieving, liver disease prevention and treatment, platelet coagulation inhibition, atherosclerosis and other effects, and can be widely used in medicine, food and other fields.
