Used to prepare grape, cherry, strawberry, watermelon, citrus and other edible flavor and wine flavor. The amount used in chewing gum is 2200mg/kg; 56mg/kg in candy; 23mg/kg in pudding; 21mg/kgI in cold drinks 20mg/kg in baked goods; 16mg/kg in soft drinks; 0.2mg/kg in alcohol.


Main Uses:

The product can be used as an intermediate of pesticides and saccharin. Methyl anthranilate has the sweet aroma of tower flower, and has a grape-like aroma when diluted. It is used in the blending of cheap artificial flower oil, also with soap flavors or grape flavors. China GB 2760-86 provides for the permissible use of edible spices. Mainly used to prepare grape, citrus, loganberry, strawberry and watermelon flavors, Methyl anthranilate can react with aldehydes to produce valuable soap-based flavors, such as hydroxyvanillin and methyl anthranilate to produce the following flavors.
