1. Disinfection and preservatives
Medical disinfectant: As the main component of cresol soap solution (Lysol), it is used for medical equipment and environmental disinfection, effectively killing bacteria and fungi.
Industrial anti-corrosion: added to wood preservatives and cutting oils to inhibit microbial growth.
2. Pesticide intermediates
The key raw materials for synthesizing insecticides (such as cypermethrin) and herbicides are used to prepare efficient agricultural drugs through derivatization reactions.
3. Synthesis of polymer materials
Resin raw materials: used for producing modified phenolic resins and epoxy resin toughening agents to enhance material heat resistance and mechanical strength.
