1. Used as solvent enhancer, wetting agent, chelating agent (complexing agent), multivalent masking agent.

2. Sodium sulfobutylbetacyclodextrin is a new anionic highly water-soluble cyclodextrin derivative, which can be well integrated with drug molecules to form non-covalent complexes, thereby improving drug stability, water solubility and safety, reducing renal toxicity, alleviating hemolysis, controlling drug release rate, and covering up undesirable odor. At present, it has been applied to injection drugs, oral drugs, nasal drugs, eye drugs, and has special affinity and compatibility for nitrogen-containing drugs.

 

Beta-Cyclodextrin sulfobutyl ethers sodium salts,a new drug preparation excipient, is a sulfonic acid derivative of anionic highly water-soluble cyclodextrin. It can be well integrated with drug molecules to form non-covalent complexes, improve drug stability, water solubility, safety, and effectively improve the biological activity of drug molecules. It has low renal toxicity, can alleviate hemolytic drugs, and control drug release rate.
