Properties: Appearance: O-phenylenediamine is a colorless crystalline solid. Solubility: O-phenylenediamine is soluble in most organic solvents such as alcohols, ethers and ketones, and insoluble in water. Odor: O-phenylenediamine has a pungent odor. Use: Dye synthesis: o-phenylenediamine is an important raw material for the synthesis of a variety of dyes, especially for the preparation of azo dyes. Rubber industry: O-phenylenediamine is one of the components of rubber vulcanization accelerator, which helps to increase the strength and durability of rubber.




 

(1) O-phenylenediamine is mainly used in the manufacture of pesticide fungicides (carbendazim, Benzodiazim, methyl tolbuzine, thiamendam), reducing dyes (reduced yellow 6GD, reduced brilliant Orange GR), cationic dyes (cationic Brilliant Yellow 10GFF), polymer stabilizers (2-mercaptobenzimidazole), heterocyclic compounds (benzimidazole and quinoxaline), photosensitive materials, Surfactant, antifreeze, copper anticorrosive agent, etc. It is one of the ingredients of hair dye formulation and one of the organic reagents commonly used in analytical chemistry to identify 1, 2-diketones, carboxylic acids and aldehydes.

(2) M-phenylenediamine is mainly used in the manufacture of dyes, such as direct fast black RN, and used as fur dyes, as well as azonitrogen and azine dye intermediates, determination of nitrite, but also used in ion exchange resins, block copolymers and photography; Used as textile dyeing agent, laboratory reagent, vulcanizing agent, corrosion inhibitor. It is also used as curing agent of epoxy resin and coagulant of cement.

(3) p-phenylenediamine is mainly used in the manufacture of dyes, can be used for the synthesis of azo dyes disperse dyes, acid dyes, direct dyes, vulcanized dyes, fur dyes (fur black D), can also be used for fur dyeing, as a cosmetic hair dye Ursilk D, It is also used in the production of rubber anti-aging agents (" anti-aging agent DNP ", "anti-aging agent DOP", "anti-aging agent DBP") and developer.
