Main Uses:

 

Piperazine is an important pharmaceutical intermediate, which is mainly used in the production of intestinal insect repellent drugs piperazine phosphate, piperazine citrate, fluphenazine, tetralidin, rifampicin, trimethoprim and other drugs. It is also used in the production of surfactants such as wetting agents, emulsifiers, dispersants and the production of antioxidants, preservatives, stabilizers and other plastic processing additives and rubber additives.

 

Piperazine, also known as roundworm repellent, is a safe and effective anti-roundworm and anti-pinworm drugs. Our country's "Veterinary Pharmacopoeia" contains piperazine citrate and piperazine phosphate. This product can paralyze the muscles of roundworm, so that the worm can not attach to the intestinal wall of the host, and then excreted with feces.

 

Pharmaceutical intermediates, mainly used in the production of intestinal insect repellent drugs piperazine phosphate, piperazine citrate, as well as flufen hexidine, Qiangtongidine, rifampicin. Piperazine hexahydrate dissolved in ethanol, adding glacial acetic acid,to precipitate piperazine acetate, which was used in the synthesis of hormone drugs hydroprednisone sodium phosphate. The reaction of piperazine hexahydrate with ethyl anhydride to produce acetylpiperazine, an intermediate of the deworming drug piperitrothiazole.
