Green crystal or reddish purple powder, soluble in water, ethanol, slightly soluble in  solution; The aqueous solution is blue-red and has strong fluorescence after dilution. The aqueous solution is rose-red when  is added, and flocculation precipitates after heating. Yellowish brown in concentrated sulfuric acid with strong green fluorescence, scarlet in dilution, then blu-red to orange. The alcohol solution is red fluorescence, the maximum absorption wavelength is 554nm, the maximum fluorescence wavelength is 610nm, the peak laser wavelength is 610nm, and the tuning range is 578~610nm.

 
Main Uses:

 


Photometric determination of gold, antimony (V), thallium (III), fluorescence determination of manganese, cobalt, etc; REDOX indicator used to titrate tin, antimony, niobium, tantalum precipitant, biological dye series laser dyes.

In the cosmetics industry, it can be used for the coloring of bath liquid, shampoo, cold water and other products, but it should not be used in eye, mouth and lip cosmetics.
