Chemical Property/Description
Dark red to brown crystalline powder,It is blue-green in concentrated sulfuric acid and has a red precipitate after dilution.
Main Uses:
1.It is mainly used as a biological dyeing agent, and can also be used for the coloring of grease, water, soap, candles, rubber toys and plastic products. On October 27, 2017, the list of carcinogens published by the World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer was preliminarily collated for reference, and scarlet was in the list of 3 categories of carcinogens.
2.The variety has good resistance to light, and bright and pure color, widely used in a variety of thermoplastics transparent or opaque coloring; Polyester, nylon, engineering materials and other plastic coloring; Polystyrene, organic glass, ABS resin, polymethyl methacrylate resin, acetate fiber and polyvinyl chloride and other plastic coloring; Can also be used for polyester fiber pulp coloring, but also for paint and ballpoint pen ink coloring, product performance is stable.
3.oil and fat dyeing,Solvent Red 24 can be replaced by oil red O(oil red O); Color for high temperature thermometers.
