Chemical Property/Description

1. Phthalic acid is strongly acidic and can react with bases to form corresponding salts.

2. It is a heat-stable compound that does not decompose easily at high temperatures.

3. Under light, phthalic acid may undergo photochemical reactions to further produce organic matter.

4.Used for making dyes, polyester resin, polyester, drugs and plasticizers.Phthalic acid  can be used instead of phthalic acid in applications. Phthalic acid is the raw material of synthetic resins, fibers, drugs, etc. It is an important organic industrial product. It is used as an analytical reagent for reference substances and certain metals in gas chromatography. Phthalic acid after dehydration to form anhydride, anhydride is an important raw material of polyurethane industry, its products in the production of polyurethane insulation materials, performance is better than polyether effect.
