Determination of nickel: It can be used to separate nickel from cobalt and other metals. In addition, it can be used to separate metal ions such as palladium from tin, gold, rhenium, and iridium.
1.Analytical chemistry: In analytical chemistry, dimethylglyoxaldoxime is used as a selective precipitant, a detection agent and a photometric agent. It is commonly used for the determination of nickel, palladium, platinum and other metal ions.
