Mordant Orange 1 is orange brown crystal, decomposition at 253 ~ 254ºC; Soluble in water and ethanol, slightly soluble in  ethylene glycol ether, almost insoluble in other organic solvents; The product is sodium salt (C13H8N3NAO5), a brown-yellow powder, soluble in water, its solution is brown-yellow.
 

Main Uses:

 

Mordant Orange 1 is mainly used as a pH indicator and as a biological stain in the chemical inspection and dyeing industry.

1.In the field of chemistry,the use of test paper is extremely frequent, it is a class of paper impregnated with chemicals, which can test the existence of certain substances in liquids or gases through its color changes.

2.Used to prepare soy sauce color standard sample.(1) To provide technical basis for the formulation of soy sauce color standards. (2) Unified soy sauce color calibration method. (3) To change the cumbersome, difficult to master, non-uniform, unstable, not intuitive, not easy to popularize and promote the application of soy sauce color determination method chaos and backward situation.
