Mixed glycerol caprate monoester is colorless transparent or light yellow liquid at room temperature and pressure, soluble in water.
Due to its unique solubility, emulsifier, stability, low viscosity and metabolic properties different from conventional oils, mixed glycerol caprate has been widely used in food, medicine and cosmetics industries.
Mixed caprylic/capric triglyceride is a lipid compound composed of caprylic acid and capric acid combined with glycerol.
It mainly has the following properties: solubility: mixed glycerol caprate monoester is almost insoluble in water, but can be miscible with most organic solvents (such as alcohols and ethers) and some oils and fats.
Stability: Mixed glycerol caprate monoester has high stability and is not easy to oxidize.
1. Mixed glycerol octycaprate monoester has a good emollient effect, promoting the penetration and release of drugs.
2. Mixed glycerol caprate has better spreading properties on the skin and does not affect the skin breathability.
3. Mixed glycerol caprate monoester is a good solvent for fat-soluble drugs, and is not easy to oxidize, and has good compatibility with drugs.
