It is a white or colorless solid that dissolves easily and gradually breaks down.
 
Main Uses:

 



1.Spin catcher used in combination with Fe2+ to detect NO in brain, kidney, liver and other tissues. Simultaneous direct measurement of NO* and pO2 has been reported. A chelating agent of copper that has been used to quantify copper in biological materials by electron spin resonance and as an inhibitor of peroxide dismutase, ascorbate oxidase, and other enzymes. In a study that outlined how to synthesize and purify hydrogen bond substitute (HBS) alpha-helix in 1 week, sodium diethyl dithiocarbamate trihydrate was used to synthesize n-allyl peptides.

2.Reagents for AAS analysis after extraction of trace metals into organic solvents; Used to precipitate trace metals for X-ray fluorescence analysis.

3.Biochemical/physiological effects inhibit induction   synthase in macrophages.
