Main Uses:

Sodium isascorbate is white to yellow-white crystal particles or crystal powder, odorless, slightly salty, melting point above 200ºC decomposition, in the dry state exposed to air is quite stable. However, in an aqueous solution, when there is air, metal, heat, and light, oxidation occurs, it is easily soluble in water 55g/100ml, almost insoluble in ethanol, and the PH value of 2% aqueous solution is 6.5-8.0.

Antioxidant properties: The antioxidant capacity of sodium ascorbate is far more than that of sodium vitamin C, without strengthening the role of vitamin C, but it will not hinder the absorption and application of anti-corbate by the human body. The body takes sodium isoascorbate, which can be converted into vitamin C in the body.
 

The physiological effect of sodium isoascorbate is only about 1/20 of that of ascorbic acid in ascorbic acid, but it is roughly the same as ascorbic acid in lowering blood pressure, diuresis, liver glycogen generation, pigment excretion, detoxification and other aspects.

Cosmetic antioxidant. In cosmetics, oxygen can be consumed to reduce high-priced metal ions, transfer the REDOX potential to the reduction range, and reduce the production of undesirable oxidation products. It can also be used as an anticorrosive aid.
