Chemical Property:
It is white crystalline or crystalline powder, soluble in water, slightly smelly. Melting point 240ºC, monoclinic crystal system. Cysteine is one of the sulfur-containing amino acids, a non-essential amino acid, in vivo, by methionine sulfur atom and serine hydroxyl oxygen atom substitution, synthesis via cysteine sulfide, from cysteine to produce glutathione. Cysteine is stable to acids and easily oxidized to cysteine in neutral and alkaline solutions.

Main Uses:

1. In cosmetics: used for the production of perm, sunscreen, perfume, hair tonic, etc. This kind of advanced perm, cold ironing essence with cysteine instead of thio acetic acid, has the advantages of easy perm, easy to maintain hair style, soft and not messy, and can also prepare sunscreen and hair growth perfume;

2. In medicine:
L-Cysteine is mainly used in liver drugs, antidotes, expectorants and other medicines. L-Cysteine and its derivatives can be used for liver poisoning detoxification, antipyretic analgesia, ulcer treatment, fatigue recovery, transfusion and comprehensive amino acid preparations, especially for expectorant. Treatment of bronchitis and phlegm.

3. In food: bread fermentation promoter, preservative.
L-Cysteine is used as fermentation aid, antioxidant and stabilizer for milk powder and juice, and nutritional additive for pet animal food, etc.

4.
L-Cysteine can be used as raw material for the production of n-acetyl-L -, carboxymethyl cysteine and other cysteine series derivatives.

5. Accelerate the formation of gluten and prevent aging; Used in natural juice to prevent the oxidation and Browning of VC; It can detoxify acrylic and aromatic acidosis. Prevention of radiation damage.
