Main Uses:

In food production, it is used as a buffer for flavoring agents and a preservative for meat. Control of sticky phenomena caused by fungi in bread production and for the preservation of cereals with high water content; This product can also be used as textile printing dyeing aid (mordant), buffer for the photographic industry, chemical reagents and pharmaceutical intermediates; It can also be used as raw materials for the synthesis of organic chemical products such as furanoacrylate, acetate, chloroacetic acid, cinnamic acid.

 

Anhydrous sodium acetate can be used in organic synthesis of esterification agents and photographic drugs, medicine, printing and dyeing mordant, buffer, chemical reagents, meat preservatives, pigments and many other aspects, can be used to produce a variety of chemical products, such as  prochemicalbook oleic acid, acetate and chloroacetic acid. As a buffer of seasoning agent, it can prevent discoloration, has a certain anti-mildew effect, and can also be used as a sour agent for seasoning sauce, sauerkraut, mayonnaise, fish cake, sausage, bread, rice cake, etc.

 

Sodium acetate mainly plays a role in regulating the PH value of sewage in sewage treatment. Sodium acetate is an alkaline chemical that can be hydrolyzed in water to form OH-negative ions, which can  acidic ions in water, such as H+ and NH4+. The hydrolysis equation of sodium acetate is CH3COO-+H2O= reversible =CH3COOH+OH-.
