This product is an important dye intermediate. Dispersed Brown GL (C.I.58050). Used to manufacture disperse blue HSR, disperse blue 5R, disperse Blue B, disperse deep blue RB, acid anthraquinone Blue R, weak acid brilliant blue RAW weak acid green GS, VAT grey BG, VAT Brown BR, etc. And for the production of the intermediate 1, 4-diaminoanthraquinone. 1, 4-dihydroxyanthraquinone-2-sulfonic acid can be obtained by sulfonation of 1, 4-dihydroxyquinone.
