Chlorophenyl isocyanate is an organic compound. It is a colorless liquid with a pungent smell at room temperature. P-chlorophenyl isocyanate is mainly used as an important intermediate in organic synthesis. It can also be used as coatings, adhesives and certain chemicals in the plastics manufacturing industry. The preparation of p-chlorophenyl isocyanate is usually obtained by the reaction of cyanate ester. The specific preparation method can be obtained by condensation reaction of cyanate ester under the catalysis of appropriate catalyst.
