Nicotinamide ribosyl chloride is a precursor of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) and represents the source of vitamin B3. It can enhance oxidative metabolism and prevent metabolic abnormalities caused by high-fat diets. Niacinamide ribosyl chloride is a newly discovered NAD (NAD+) precursor vitamin.
