Sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate (SDBS) is an anionic surfactant with a wide range of applications, mainly covering the following fields:
1. Detergents and cleaning products
As a core component, it is used in laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, etc. It enhances the cleaning ability by reducing the surface tension of water, and has a significant effect on particles, proteins, and oily dirt. However, it should be noted that its hard water resistance is poor and it needs to be used in combination with chelating agents.
2. Industrial emulsifiers and dispersants
As an emulsifier in the production of cosmetics, pesticides, and rubber, it stabilizes oil-water mixture systems; Used for dispersion and wetting in textile printing and metal processing.
3. Antistatic agent
