Calcium disodium edetate dihydrate:
Crystalline or crystalline powder. Soluble in water and acid, almost insoluble in organic solvents. At 30ºC, the pH of 0.1mol/L aqueous solution is about 7. Lead and other heavy metal ions exchange calcium to form water-soluble heavy metal complexes. It's stimulating.

Main Uses:
Calcium disodium edetate dihydrate is a biochemical reagent, which can be used as biological material or organic compound for life science related research.
Chelating agent; Preservative; Antioxidants (used by chelates to prevent oxidation) It has the effect of binding free metal to make the product quality stable. Use for eliminating inhibition of enzyme-catalyzed reactions due to trace heavy metals Production method is made by reacting disodium  tetraacetate with calcium carbonate (or natural shells).
